The Second Pair of Windows shows the Nativity of Christ and the Adoration of the Shepherds (Heaton, Butler & Bayne). With the manger as a frame, the shepherds are shown in the right hand panel with the Star of Bethlehem above them. On the left is the Holy Family with the infant Jesus on Mary’s lap. The ox and the ass are behind them, and the lamb in front. 

This window was given to the Glory of God and in loving memory of Elizabeth Root (1817-1909)
