St. Peter's Episcopal Church

What gifts from God could you share to help support His mission here at Saint Peter’s?

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Your gift to St. Peter's helps support the ministries and operations of the church. There are several forms of giving, including:

  • Time and talents are very much part of our giving. Your time and talents can make a tremendous difference in accomplishing our mission and ministry. Please speak with Fr. Jeremy, a vestry or committee member, or an usher to let what you feel called to do.

  • Annual pledges, which support our mission and ministry through daily operations, outreach, and other various ministries. Pledging helps our church plan our budget for the future year by knowing in advance what financial contributions our members will commit to our programs throughout the year. Your pledge promise is between you and God. Only two stewardship ministry members see your commitment for budgeting purposes only. You can download a pledge form by clicking here. You can return the form by placing it in the offering plate, or by delivering it to the church office in person or via mail.

  • Periodic giving is welcome. You can simply provide your cash or check gift in the offering plate on Sunday, or by mailing a check to the church. If you have a specific intention for your gift, please include a note explaining your intention.

  • Planned Giving provides us with opportunities to give to the church from our resources both during and after our lifetimes. In general, planned gifts are made in three forms: a bequest in a will, a life-income gift, or a gift of special assets. We all drink from wells we have not dug, and planned giving plays a vital role in our church’s ongoing ministry. For more information about planning your legacy gift, please contact the parish office.
